What grade of maple syrup should I purchase?

Golden with Delicate Taste
Light, golden color with a mild, delicate taste. Excellent as a table syrup or over ice cream or yogurt.

Amber with Rich Taste
A light amber color and full-bodied flavor, this class of syrup is the product of choice for consumers who desire the classic maple syrup flavor. Use on pancakes, waffles, and as an all-around table syrup.

Dark with Robust Taste
A dark amber color with a more pronounced maple flavor, this class will satisfy those consumers who desire the strong flavors of what has been known as Grade B.

Extra Bold with Strong Taste
Nearly black, this syrup has a strong flavor that translates well to cooking, where the maple flavor will carry through to the finished dish.

How do I place an order?

Place an Item in Your Cart
When you see an item you wish to purchase, click the "Add to Cart" button. This puts the item into your shopping cart.  At anytime during your visit you can estimate your shipping.  This is a really a cool feature because by entering a few details (which the system will remember at checkout) it allows you a chance to also edit your cart.  When done click on Check out.

~  During the Check out you will be asked to verify if you wish to check out as:

  • Guest -  this option requires that you enter all of your billing and account information every visit.  This option will not allow you to track your order. 
  • Register an Account - by registering an account you will be able to enter your information 1x and only change items as needed.  This option will not allow you to track your order from your confirmation page.

~  Once you have confirmed your billing and shipping details you can view all of the items you have added to your cart, you can change the quantity of each item you have selected and remove items if you have changed your mind. To shop for more products, click "Continue Shopping."

Payment Methods

  • When purchasing online, you may use PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
  • Check by Mail.  While we do not accept checks online at this time this option reserves your items for 2 weeks until we get your check. 
  • All of our prices are listed in US dollars.
  • All orders will be calculated and billed in US dollars.
  • Select your items and at type of payment select Check. You are welcome to visit our store at 2450 Lincoln Hill Road in Shrewsbury, Vermont.

Enter information necessary for payment option selected. When you are satisfied with information entered "Submit Your Order" to complete the checkout process. Your order will be processed and we will ship your order as promptly as possible.

How secure is it to order merchandise?

We want you to feel completely comfortable when shopping with us. All payments are processed using a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), that creates a secure shopping environment that authenticates your connection and encrypts sensitive information before it is sent over the Internet.

Can I order merchandise from the web site over the phone or by mail?

Yes. While shopping at our website is safe and secure, we realize that you still may prefer to order by phone or by mail. We invite you to browse through our website, keep track of the items that you wish to purchase by adding them to your cart, and then call us at (802) 492-2151 to place your order by phone.

Will I be charged sales tax?

We have included VT 6% sales tax in the purchase price of stationary, prints and shirts.  Our food items are not subject to Vermont sales tax.

Can orders be shipped to an address that is different from my billing address?

Yes. Every time you make a purchase, you will have the option to enter a new shipping address during checkout or to choose any shipping address that you previously stored.
